As part of a shared services group, the Senior Manager, Treasury will work closely with Treasury, Finance, Risk and internal & external stakeholders to provide meaningful insights into the performance of each of the treasury functions across Questrade Financial Group (“QFG”). The insights should leverage strong, meaningful and automated reporting from the various systems utilized by the Treasury group.

  • Support Treasury & Finance in the development, preparation of internal consolidated reporting packages and executive presentations and related reports and analysis
  • Establish and maintain a database of pertinent information for use in analyzing monthly results, budgets and re-forecasting in collaboration with other senior members of the QFG team.
  • Provide oversight for liquidity, capital, foreign exchange and interest rate risk related to internal reporting on a monthly/quarterly basis.
  • Forecast movements of cash flows & capital across all entities
  • Monitor the Syndicate facilities across all entities
  • Play a significant role in the continuous transformation of QFG’s quarterly budget and executive-level reporting using dynamic visualization tools (such as PowerBI) to communicate results and analysis and facilitating the underlying data infrastructure
  • Maintain key performance indicators that are aligned with QFG’s risk appetite
  • Assist in Treasury related projects as assigned
  • Minimum 5 years experience working in a Treasury related role
  • Strong communication skills, presentation skills and the ability to influence
  • Superior computer skills with programs such as Access, Power BI and general ledger software systems are critical as you will work with and analyze large amounts of data.
  • Solid understanding of cash management, bank loans including securitization , and treasury products
  • Good understanding of financial statement and credit analysis
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with varied audiences and needs
  • High level of integrity, confidentiality and accountability.
  • Sound analytical thinking, planning, prioritization and execution skills.
  • Ability to interface and collaborate across all organizational levels and disciplines
