As the Senior Process Manager – RTR you will own EMEA-based service delivery, operational performance management (metrics, process ownership, continuous improvement), team management, compliance (tax law and required actions relating thereto, Sarbanes-Oxley, etc.), and implementation of key EMEA-based initiatives (business case, requirements, program management, and resource planning) relating to general ledger accounting records, taxes, Stat and Corporate reporting as well as compliance to Corporate Finance Policies. You will act as a trusted business partner to Senior Finance Management in EMEA Region and supports Financial Reporting Director in building and executing the GBS Controllership strategy and own responsibility for the compliant corporate reporting process.

  • Lead and manage the Record to Report team for assigned countries of the EMEA region,
  • Working closely with local finance representatives to ensure adherence to tax and all local fiscal regulations,
  • Be responsible for company compliance with corporate finance policies and standard reports,
  • Actively support Commercial and Operational Departments in their Business development, cost reduction, and any other projects,
  • Work closely with the Sub Regional VP’s and the country management team to ensure the achievement of the country’s financial objectives,
  • Driving standardization and continuous improvement projects within the assigned countries
  • Providing visible leadership to the EMEA Finance team ensuring that required levels of performance are achieved
  • Working closely with external auditors to support of preparation of Annual Accounts for respective countries in scope according to statutory requirements,
  • Cooperation with Corporate and EMEA Tax departments in case of input for Transfer Pricing Documentation preparation according to statutory requirements,
  • Working closely with Compliance and SOX Team to ensure that assigned legal entities comply with Sarbanes and Oxley Act requirements.
  • High education in accounting/finance,
  • A good all-round knowledge of local corporate and income taxes, local GAAP, and US GAAP,
  • At least 5 years of experience at the Manager level within Finance / Accounting in an International/Multi-national company,
  • Experienced with Shared Services or Outsourcing Centre environment, people, and change management, understanding of relevant regional accounting practices and the regulatory environment,
  • MS Office, Oracle (or the other ERP system) knowledge,
  • Very good command of English (fluent level).
  • Experience in Excel to an advanced level,
  • Proven ability to work under pressure,
  • Customer-focused individual,
  • Problem solver with strong project management skills,
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, relationship, and consensus-building skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization; effectively gains agreement and consensus for ideas,
  • Experience with process improvements and accounts supervisory.
