The Senior Project Manager will support multiple client-facing projects and grants for our scientists and ensure success by developing and tracking budgets, providing outstanding project management, process improvement, and risk management.

• Coordinate with colleagues and clients to successfully execute multiple internal and external projects
• Ensure projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and at budget
• Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives by involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
• Build relationships with internal and external project teams
• Maintain well documented, organized, and up-to-date project files including proposals, model inputs, reporting, and correspondence
• Organize, identify, and document resources required to complete a project successfully
• Assist operations team in managing resource availability
• Manage and initiate changes to project scope, schedule, and costs
• Utilize project management tools and techniques to measure performance
• Maintain excellent client relations throughout the project lifecycle and prioritize customer service
• Perform risk management to minimize potential risks and report potential concerns
• Responsible for project forecasting, budgeting, revenue recognition and invoicing
• Prepare and report project metrics to stakeholders
• Develop comprehensive project plans
• Evaluate process and drive process improvement
• Represent modeling scientists in their absence to provide updates to customers
• Plan and implement grant programs, prepare budgets, research funding opportunities, coordinate grant staff, monitor timelines, tracking results, and analyze financial data
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of project manager experience preferred
• Project Management Professional (PMP) is a plus
• Excellent client-facing, written, and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking abilities
• Advanced computer skills including a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) solutions and project management software
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Strategic decision making skills
• Great at collaborating with a variety of colleagues and clients on important projects
• High energy and passionate personality
• Maintain a positive attitude while interacting with colleagues and clients
