Responsible for ensuring the governance of Internal Control System (ICS) of OMV Petrom Group in compliance with internally defined standards and legal framework.

The position steers also finance process reviews and has an important role in optimization, simplification and automation of the activities in Finance organization and in the company.

  • Group wide responsibility as regards to Internal Control System (ICS) of OMV Petrom Group by ensuring the execution of the relevant activities (with support of divisional ICS coordinators and ICS responsible of the Shared Service Center); acts also as a local ICS coordinator for OMV Petrom Corporate function
  • Leads the development, implementation, roll-out and ongoing optimization and regular review of OMV Petrom and Petrom Group wide finance processes and related concepts e.g. Purchase to Pay, Order to Cash, Invest to Divest, Record to Report etc)
  • Supports Finance organization on various issues, especially for adequate implementation or update of processes in order ensure compliance with accounting and tax regulations, corporate governance rules and ICS
  • Manages key internal and external stakeholders related to ICS, special projects/reports
  • Prepares training material and delivers trainings to relevant stakeholders and end users for ICS, process changes and systems etc.
  • Coordinates, supervises or leads projects assigned in time and in budget.
  • Defines sound proposals to improve procedures and guidelines and provides input for internal policies
  • Provides clear, valuable advice on relevant topics / special projects in the organization.
  • Advanced knowledge of Internal Control Systems, of processes, roles and responsibilities in Finance organization
  • Structured thinking, ability to deeply understand and analyze workflows, end to end processes, capabilities of adaptation or development of new solutions through analytical and innovative thinking
  • Excellent understanding of cross-functional relations and interdependencies
  • Outstanding communication skills — written, verbal, persuasion and presentation (Romanian and English).
  • Able to establish and maintain effective cross-organizational and cross cultural relationships.
  • Knowledge of RAS and IFRS accounting rules
  • Knowledge of SAP (FI/CO/MM) ERP
  • Experienced user of MS Office Package
  • Advanced Project Management abilities
  • Education: Bachelor degree in the area of finance-accounting
  • Professional degree of ACCA, CECCAR, CAFR, IT systems, process manager, project manager or similar is recommended
