We are seeking a Service Delivery Director to join our senior leadership team. The Service Delivery Director will interact with the most senior levels of the organisation, building sustainable relationships and responding closely to customer requirements, whilst managing Officer and Staff expectations. The main areas to this portfolio are:

• Joiners, Movers, Leavers Services
• Employee Services
• Source-to-Pay Services
• Finance Operation Services (Order to cash (O2C), Record to report (R2R))

These services incorporate an in-house FTE structure of 60-80, with operational responsibility for Met’s shared services supplier and other third parties (approximately 700 – 800) and an annual budget responsibility of £50 – 60m per annum.. The role is directly responsible for the appropriate service area financial budgets and any annual savings required. This is a challenging role and the post holder must deal with complex and difficult issues, which may include supporting operational responses to major incidents involving local / regional / national scale threats and / or social disorder. The organisation receives heavy public scrutiny and there is potential that the nature of work at this level may attract public / press interest.
