Our client is a global provider of Facilities Services to both private and public sector clients on a large scale. This Services Director role is a broad-spectrum position within the business, with the remit to work closely with the wider group to support services that are provided to other divisions.
Reporting directly to the Regional CEO the key drivers for the role will be innovation, workforce management, procurement, data analytics and appropriate views on automation. Success will be measured by the ability influence and facilitate a change of mind-set across the whole business, to embrace a shared services approach and to move away from a federated model. The incoming candidate must be resilient and have excellent influencing skills to act as a change agent to drive adoption of the shared services model.
* The ongoing transformation and evolution of the Services Function
* Improving the quality of delivery whilst reducing cost.
* Ensure Technology plays its role in ensuring the group is the best in sector
* Develop a high-level roadmap for each of the Services service lines
* Driving the correct balance between self delivery and utilisation of third party partners.
* Develop and implement a strategy which leverages automation, removes duplication
* Streamlines processes to contribute to cost efficiency
* Managing a significant number of the Group’s critical suppliers to drive value
* Improve the perception of Centralized Services capability by creating strong relationships
Naturally, a role at this level requires superior financial, commercial and leadership abilities and the successful candidate will have demonstrable success in business strategy, managing complex cost reduction programmes, business relationships and risk management, as well as a strong understanding of transformation practices and changing organisations.
