To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Shared Service Center Finance Lead in in our subsidiary Proximus ICT. The role will have both operational and transactional responsibilities in the finance domain, as well as transformational & strategic accountabilities to further extend and expand our shared service center for our enterprise subsidiaries.
As a Shared Service Center Finance Lead, you will be accountable for leading and running our shared service center Finance, that offers transactional finance processes for our Proximus Benelux ICT subsidiaries. Your main responsibilities can be split up in 3 areas, with potential to further shape and extend the shared service center scope.
Operational & Transactional:
· Running of the transactional finance processes (Procure To Pay, Order To Cash, Record To Report,…) respecting the SLA’s set up between the shared service center and the subsidiaries
· Assist the team of accountants in operational finance activities
· Manage the monthly and yearly closing & reporting of legal entities on time and quality (IFRS, legal compliance)
· Management on a day to day of the team of 9 FTEs (growing up to 12 FTE) and execute yearly appraisal reviews
· Ensure coordination with the Proximus Group Finance accounting, Group Services (tax, treasury..) and with Finance Controllers in the subsidiaries
Transformational & Strategy:
· Budget owner of the SSC Finance P&L
· Build a yearly continuous service improvement plan that strives for maximum quality & efficiency
· Recruit and staff the SSC organisation and create a culture in line with ICT affiliates culture
· Develop end to end target finance processes in SSC environment
· Provide requirements to the IT teams that define the SSC Finance ERP systems and tools to further optimize the way of working
· Manage onboarding / roll-out of new affiliates in the SSC environment
Relational:
· Towards the Subsidiaries: ensuring a service mentality, building a good relationship, treating them as a customer, helping where required on adoption of new ways of working
· Towards the Group Finance organisation: act as a bridge, ensure compliance, and push for best practices sharing
· Towards the IT teams: act as a SPOC to define new requirements and help on priority setting
The must-haves we are looking for are:
· Proven experience in finance and accounting aspects (accounting, AP, AR, controlling…) from a large and complex organization operating with shared services, or from a finance/accounting/audit consultancy
· Solid accounting knowledge (IFRS, Audit, compliance..)
· Good people management skills
· Team player
· Process minded & finance process experience on ERP
· Stress resistant & result-oriented
· Excellent communication skills in English and Dutch. French is a plus.
· You work in our office locations for minimum 2 days per week
