Our client is a leading company in the manufacturing industry with more than 10,000 employees worldwide.

• Direct leadership responsibility and accountability for the following functions: Accounting, Fixed Assets, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, as well as support for Corporate Tax and Banking initiatives
• Support in the configuration of new reporting units, presentation and audit requirements, guidance with new tax regulations, coordination of the execution of divestments, implementation of accounting principles both globally and locally.
• Coordinate and analyze strategies to increase the benefits of Shared Services, identify new business opportunities and reduce the cost of financial keys.
• Coordinate the team to ensure that accounting services are delivered in the most effective and efficient manner possible.
• Identify and implement improvements in the different business processes and ensure that all controls, policies, activities and resource allocation are consistent with its mission.
• Ensure that available tools and IT resources are used for the standardization and automation necessary to reduce the cost and improve the process of activities under the scope of Shared Services.
• Maintain relationships with the customer base served, including periodic (at least annual) performance reviews and strategy development discussions. Also, identify new opportunities aligned with the GSSO Leader.

• 8+ years of progressive experience in one or more accounting/finance functions.
• Practical knowledge of business strategy and/or strategic planning.
• Dominio en MS Office (Excel/PowerPoint/Word).
• Extensive experience in ERP systems, ideally SAP
• Strong analytical, project management, facilitation and problem-solving skills.
• Winning mentality and persuasion skills, as well as a high level of integrity and professionalism.
