My client is a multi national management consultancy and are looking for a Shared Services Manager.

• Responsible for the management of the Shared Service function including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Billing which includes tasks such as:
• Leading a team of 5 direct reports (AP Manager, Billing Managers, Credit Control Managers).
• Manage and co-ordinate shared services staff ensuring optimum use of resources.
• Promote the implementation of new systems and processes.
• Monitor internal control procedures to ensure accountability (including Sarbanes-Oxley requirements).
• Coordinating all areas of business processing including: resource planning, recruitment, personnel training, coaching and performance management
• Overseeing all back-office functions across multiple legal entities and locations including: Processing Teams, Procurement, Payments, Billing and Debt Collection, Expenses.
• Managing adherence to the Authorisation Policy and Travel & Expense Policy and internal audit controls.
• Delivering support to Corporate Finance teams for commercial or budgetary matters (including annual external audit requirements and internal audit protocols).
• Managing KPI’s and reporting.
• Assist with External Audit requirements.
• Help encourage and implement business partnering across the business.

• Experience of managing staff
• Strong academic background
• Strong Excel skills
• Team player who thrives in a multi-tasking, deadline driven environment
• SAP experience would be an advantage but not essential
• Self-starter and analytical mind
• Professional and confident manner
• Good communicator with stakeholders at all levels in the organisation
• Committed, bright, numerate and enthusiastic
• US GAAP would be helpful, but not essential
• Experience of reporting and working with auditors (internal and external)
• Has to feel comfortable in a matrix structure
• International experience would be useful
