- Lead the Accounts Payable/Receivable team to streamline invoice processing and payment procedures, efficiently handle high volume of invoices while maintaining accuracy and compliance.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation, continuously driving efficiency and effectiveness in accounts payable and receivable operations.
- Take ownership to reduce DSO by working with the Team.
- Experience working within an ERP system.
- Support the Accounts Payable/Receivable team in maintaining positive relationships with vendors and customers, resolving inquiries, discrepancies, and disputes promptly, and ensuring timely payments and collections to optimize relationships and cash flow management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant regulations, providing support for month-end close activities, audits, and reconciliations as needed.
- Exposure to multi currencies, revaluations.
- Work closely with procurement, sales, and finance, to facilitate efficient communication, obtain necessary approvals for invoices and credit terms, and support process improvements to enhance collaboration and efficiency across the organization.
- Prepare for Knowledge Transition from Shared Services Team to new Team.
- Provide mentorship to the Accounts Payable/Receivable team, and alignment with departmental goals and objectives.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field
- Minimum of 7-10 years’ experience in accounts payable/receivable or similar role preferably in a manufacturing background.
- 3 years management/leadership experience
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (e.g., SAP S4 HANA/Oracle NetSuite)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively across departments.
- An attitude to roll up the sleeves and work with the Team.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
