As a Shared Services Manager – Finance, your mandate is to develop, lead and scale a best-in-class Shared Services team that supports One’s Finance organization. This role will enhance the Finance team’s operational infrastructure and allow the team to scale efficiently, relying on your reports and insights to support decision-making across the organization. You will work closely with Finance and Accounting team members as well as cross-functional partners in Procurement, IT, and other teams throughout the firm. This role reports to the Corporate Finance Lead. This is a great opportunity for a proactive, ownership-minded candidate looking to join a fast growing team at an early stage.
- Supporting Finance organization’s operational needs, including but not limited to: vendor management, KPI reporting (operational, financial and treasury), actuals vs budget analyses, dashboard creation and maintenance and month-close accounting support for India entity
- Developing and documenting best-in-class, scalable processes to support our growing business
- Identifying and executing on automation opportunities to increase efficiency including automating and producing monthly and quarterly management reports
- Developing quality controls to ensure accuracy and minimize errors
- Developing and executing a volume tracking system to monitor and forecast team capacity
- Tracking and communicating progress against objectives
- Supporting the team’s growth through hiring, developing and managing a small and scrappy team
- Collaborating with colleagues in the finance team as well as cross functionally to meet your goals and our company’s objectives
- 10+ years of experience in finance or accounting-related operations or business process automation in large and fast growing, global organizations
- Demonstrated success in leading the build and scale of a high-performing Shared Services team with partners across timezones
- Ability to balance personal ownership of tasks while training and managing teammates
- Proven track record of implementing process improvement and automation with measurable results
- Outstanding written & verbal communication
