SkyWater Search Partners is partnering with a great client of ours to help them find their next Senior Accounting Manager. This individual will work closely with two fantastic finance leaders who we actually placed at this company!

Our client has been around for close to half a century and continues to be a strong leader in their industry. This is an exciting time for them as and they are continuing to experience growth, and this individual will help directly contribute to that.

• Support the month-end close process by coordinating with business units and operations to ensure accurate and timely financial close and reporting.
• Ensure revenue is recognized correctly in compliance with ASC 606.
• Oversee and maintain account reconciliation processes and procedures.
• Ensure client invoices are generated and distributed accurately and promptly.
• Manage the collection of cash for overdue customer accounts.
• Oversee and coordinate the sales commission calculation process.
• Collaborate with the sales team to address client and job costing inquiries.
• Provide crucial information to management to support decision-making.
• Assist in the development and monitoring of the budget.
• Manage and supervise ad-hoc projects

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or similar field
• Master’s degree in accounting, finance or similar field
• Seven years of corporate accounting experience
• 4 years of management experience
• Must be detailed oriented but also have ability to provide high level commentary to senior leadership
• Collaborative team player with positive attitude
• Competent in accounting principles and procedures
• Must have solid communication, technology, analytical and management skills
• Prior SAP experience
