As the Shared Services Operational Excellence Director, you will provide leadership to developing critical operational capabilities. You will also provide ongoing support for the continuous improvement of service delivery operations providing expertise and support in applying best practices that drive operational excellence in all we do. This role will be responsible for the strategic roadmap of Shared Service functions, as it relates to driving operational excellence and efficiency to quickly and deploy agile service delivery throughout the Enterprise.
- Design and support transformation initiatives across Shared Services Groups in alignment with Strategic House Objectives ensuring long-term impact and sustainability
- Provide leadership to set the long-term strategic direction for Shared Services Operations, Processes
- Foster a service-oriented mindset and facilitate collaboration with Business Segments to support a cohesive business strategy.
- Drive operational excellence through processes that enhance the agility and performance of the Shared Service Organizations, with strong execution.
- Provide data-driven insights and information to the executive team, aiding in complex decision-making through robust analysis, synthesis, and interpretation of data and trends.
- Leading process improvement programs, from set-up to implementation; providing on-the-ground process management and improvement expertise
- Oversee delivery of OPEX portfolio of initiatives with accountability for delivering agreed outcomes
- Guide business / process owners and their teams in becoming self-sustaining in new processes/ operational capabilities

- Building, developing, and maintaining the relationship with stakeholders (from senior management to staff on the ground); ensuring strong collaboration
- Lead and support a change in mindset, building a culture of, agility, accountability, and process improvement
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Direct Reports – This position does not have supervisory responsibilities for direct reports
- Indirect Reports – May delegate work of others and provide guidance, direction and mentoring to indirect reports
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field
- 10 – 15 of years related experience
- Industrial Engineering experience (or similar), including preferably *Kaizen, Lean, or Six Sigma certification.
- Lean transformation experience and understanding of lean principles with a proven track record of changing culture and getting results
- Strong interpersonal and written/oral communication skills
- Ability to influence and collaborate with others to coordinate activities and accomplish goals
- Proven project management skills and experience; strong financial acumen
- Strong computer skills; able to build effective Business Cases, Transformation Plans, Operating Model Proposals and Process Improvement Recommendations
- Strong presentation and public speaking skills
- Proven ability to lead, develop and impact high performance teams
- Ability to communicate and work well with cross-functional teams and at all levels in the organization (internal and external)
- Ability to handle multiple priorities from diverse levels of management
- Results-oriented focus to ensure delivery of operational reports and services in an accurate, complete, and timely fashion
- Self-starter, self-driven, with a high level of self-initiative and the ability to prioritize, work independently and manage time effectively
- Results-driven attitude with the ability to balance big-picture thinking, understanding the key priorities for focus.
Travel and/or Driving Requirements: Able to travel nationally up to 50%
