This leader will direct Groundworks Shared Services through the stages of organizational evolution as the Company continues to grow and expand geographically, technologically and corporately.

  • Lead a skilled and effective human resources organizational team encompassing all associated Human Resources areas and initiatives within Shared Services.
  • Utilize solid business acumen to assertively partner with the organizational leadership team members and key executives regarding payroll, compensation, benefits, human resources information systems, HR analytics, and HR Support Center.
  • Provide and maintain extraordinary levels of service through effective communication, and a high level of influence, execution and prioritization of duties.
  • Create high customer satisfaction for Groundworks by providing employees with the support, service, and resources they need to maximize employee engagement and deliver quality performance, genuine customer-first service and teamwork.
  • Lead wage, benefit and employment research within area as well as industry labor markets to monitor competitive wage rates and hiring trends and make appropriate recommendations to the organizational leaders.
  • Actively participate and lead in the management needed to optimize cost and functionality of HR systems.
  • Develop a team that delivers exceptional high-value customer experiences while accelerating accurate and on-time service and solution delivery.
  • Continually monitor cost benefits of all human performance programs, services and activities contributing positively to the financial health of Groundworks.
  • Remain current on all industry related regulations and state of the art human resources practices.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, human resources or related field is strongly desired; Master’s Degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Certification in Human Resources or other related professional organizations/associations is preferred (Ex: SPHR or CCP).
  • Five to seven years of Human Resources leadership experience with evidence of progressive responsibility and interdisciplinary approaches to strategic problem solving, decision making, creating a developmental climate and building high performing teams and organizations.
  • Excellent strategic leadership skills, communication skills, keen management skills, and a demonstrated ability to develop and influence others, including teams, in developing a collaborative and inclusive environment, and creating a culture of excellence in serving the customer.
  • Ability to impact both strategic and tactical operational/finance/programmatic/human resources and administrative initiatives, operating as both a tactical and strategic thinker/leader; a true “player/coach”;
