The Source to Pay (STP) Value Stream Owner is responsible for oversight of the STP process within the Magenta Services Center, including driving process improvement and commitment to outcomes and value across the end-to-end STP value stream.

  • Define and manage the STP process, including the design, implementation, and maintenance of policies, procedures, systems, and controls.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and KPIs for STP processes to ensure consistent and accurate execution.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize the STP process and enhance efficiency within the value stream, including the implementation of new technologies and process improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, accounting standards, and internal policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other Business Partner Team leaders and value stream owners to ensure that the STP process is integrated with other business processes and systems and to develop and maintain strong relationships and drive issue resolution.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of the STP process, including key performance indicators, risks, and issues.
  • Develop and deliver training and communication materials to ensure that stakeholders within the organization and value streams understand the STP process and related policies and procedures.
  • Identify and understand risks for VSO scope and design mitigating controls.
  • Manage and lead the STP value stream team, inclusive of hiring, training, and development.
  • Ensure a common end-to-end process design that is strictly governed by a set of clearly defined controls and advise the Business on the development of standards and business rules for process stewardship.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Master’s degree or relevant certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in Procurement, Finance or Supply Chain Management, with at least 5-7 years in a leadership role, and experience in a shared services environment.
  • Strong knowledge of STP processes, accounts payable, vendor management, sourcing, and procurement operations.
  • Experience with source to pay technology, including procurement systems, accounts payable automation, and vendor management systems.
  • Experience implementing ERPs such as Oracle and/or SAP.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and make sound business decisions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with experience leading teams and driving performance.
  • Experience in driving process improvement and optimization initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of legal and regulatory requirements related to source to pay management.
  • Telecom or high-volume transactional experience (i.e., Wal-Mart, FedEx, UPS, etc.) preferred.
