McKesson is seeking a Sr. Finance Manager in the Shared Services organization to lead and manage corporate finance activities in support of all of McKesson’s U.S. business units. The ideal candidate will have experience building, managing, and communicating results from complex financial models, the ability to effectively collaborate with partners from across the organization, and influence leadership.

• Perform financial analysis in support of enterprise wide strategic initiatives
• Support M&A activity for shared service functions
• Assist with identification and tracking of revenue generating opportunities
• Execute value capture analysis and reporting related to business case decisions
• Engage in strategic long term-planning
• Partner with BU FP&A to align budgets, forecasts and long-range plan
• Perform profitability and cost to serve analysis of shared service functions
• Prepare monthly reporting and analysis of financial results using established and ad-hoc reports
• Analyze and explain key P&L statement and headcount variances
• Define and execute on process improvement opportunities
• Perform other duties as assigned

Degree or equivalent experience. Typically requires 9+ years of professional experience and 1+ years of supervisory and/or management experience.

Critical Skills

• 5+ years of experience analyzing financial statements, forecasts, month end close and budgets,
• Mastery of financial return measures such as NPV and IRR
• Exceptional analytical and research skills
• Extensive experience building and maintaining financial models
• Intermediate to advanced level on MS Excel and Power Point
• Strong internal and external customer service and relationship building skills
• Must have strong ERP / Accounting system (SAP, JDE, Oracle, Hyperion Planning) experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; must be able to effectively communicate to all levels of staff up to executive level management

Additional Knowledge & Skills

• Data mining experience highly preferred
• Experience automating complex reports in Excel preferred
• Proficiency in SAP system highly preferred
• Proficiency with Hyperion Planning preferred
• Must possess excellent organizational skills and ability to work on multiple projects
• Must be flexible and thrive in a fast pace environment
• Exceptional attention to detail

Education

• 4-year degree in finance, accounting or related field or equivalent experience
