The Team You Will Be a Part Of
The Finance Operations team reviews, evaluates, develops, implements, maintains and verifies internal and business controls for processes, systems, financial statements, journals and reports in compliance with corporate objectives and government standards such as the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) or the 8th Company Law Directive. Ensures that documentation for all processes across the organization is reviewed and updated periodically. May coordinate with external auditors to prepare the attestation of management assessment on internal controls.
This Role In Summary
This role will be the part of Shared Services Centre responsible for managing team in the areas of Financial Controllership, KPIs delivery, business partnering, Supply Chain/Sales Support and Continuous improvement
Shift Timing: Working hours based on Singapore/HKT Working Hours (IST 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM)
Key Stakeholders
Internal: Pacific Cluster Finance and business teams, IC parties, Treasury and IT, SSC Head, Direct & Indirect Tax, IA etc.
External: Vendors, Banks, Stat Auditors etc.
- Leading a highly engaged team of 9 resources responsible for Stakeholders Management, Business Partnering, KPIs delivery wrt AR, AP and Closing and Reporting and Sales Support
- Ensuring correct accounting, global and local policy compliance, enhancing SOX controls for the different entities of the Asia Pacific Region (Asia LLP (Indian entity), HK, Oceania & SEA entities).
- Collaborate with Business to drive Financial Results by providing timely actionable insights and assisting in identifying and implementing ideas of cost savings and improvements
- Ensuring timely successful Statutory Audit closure of all entities entrusted without any major audit point.
- Regular Transfer Pricing (TP) Margin Analysis towards ensuring Tax Audit & TP Audit compliance.
- Analysis and review of monthly Legal & Management P&Ls and Balance Sheet along with the CFO.
- Performing various Approvals (Payment, Invoice and Manual JVs) after satisfactory reviews.
- Vetting intercompany agreements before their sign-off by authorized signatories of the entities.
- Managing the Sales support/supply chain work for Oceania and SEA business
- Ensuring timely GST & SEIS claims and refunds filing with Stat. Authorities.
- Capacity planning for team members to ensure optimum resources utilization.
- Ensuring SOPs and Work Documentation for all the processes and work areas.
- Driving automation initiatives, RPAs and Lean Ideas in the processes.
- Developing talent pool to manage contingencies and succession planning.
- Number of years of experience: 10 – 18 years (MNC & SSC exp. preferred)
- Education: CA/MBA Finance
- Team leadership experience preferably in an India centric Shared Services environment
- Hands-on SAP expertise (FICO, MM and SD)
- Expert knowledge of P2P, O2C and R2R processes
- Hands-on experience of various accounting standards viz; India AS, US GAAP and IFRS.
- Proficient in Google Suite (MS Office may be considered)
