DHL US is hiring a Senior Manager – HR Support. The senior manager will have oversight and management of DHL Express HR Support/Shared Services and will report to the Director of HR Operations. In this role, the incumbent will manage a team of support specialists ensuring leadership focuses on respect and results in line with DHL’s core values. This position will manage Onboarding, Employee Data Updates, Data Quality Audits, T&E Corporate Card (AmEx) and Pcard Management, Employee Fuel Card Management, Offboarding, and more. This role will collaborate with HR Business Partners, Payroll, Legal, Benefits, and Field Managers to ensure timely support and excellent customer service is provided at all times. This role will drive efficiencies in our current HR Support processes while automating and innovating where possible.
- Lead and manage a team of HR Support Specialists in ensuring optimal performance and productivity
- Provide timely coaching, guidance and performance feedback to team, fostering a positive and productive work environment
- Manage all aspects of New Hire On-boarding for all roles,ensuring 100% data accuracy and compliance with necessary sign-off on policy documentation
- Manage Employee Data Updates, reviewing for 100% accuracy prior to submission to relevant data entry team
- Responsible for completing all Off-boarding processes
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance
- Accountable for creating service standards/metrics for all offerings and ensuring all service standards are met as per agreed Service Level Agreements
- Responsible for partnership and collaboration with Finance team on Travel & Entertainment Policy and Procedures
- Manage the collaboration with key HR functions and the business with annual processes that require e-Sign letters and communications
- Analyze trends in HR Support; research and propose improvements to existing work processes to ensure the most effective use of resources
- Leverage technology to reduce costs,improve effectiveness, maximize efficiencies, and enhance vendor relationships
- Collaborate with other functional leaders in HR as on projects and day to day activities as needed
- Partner with CoEs, Business Partners and Corporate HR to identify opportunities of streamlining work by automating or building scalable service delivery models
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field or equivalent experience
- 5 or more years of HR Shared Services/HR Operations management experience
- 5 or more years working knowledge of HR Technology – Oracle HCM preferred
- 3 or more years of Payroll knowledge and experience
- Demonstrated experience conducting Data Quality Audits
- Demonstrated experience of partnering with the business at a senior management and executive level in a complex environment
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
