We currently have an exciting opportunity as Senior Manager of Store Operations Training, your primary responsibility is to develop and implement the store operations training strategy, policies, procedures, and operational standards for field users. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical writing background, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for detail. In this role, you will be responsible for developing a strategy for organizing, writing, editing, and publishing a variety of store operations training documentation and communication. This role will supervise a content development specialist. This position will report directly to the Senior Director of Store Training and Customer Experience.

  • Partner with the Senior Director of Customer Experience and Store Training to create and maintain a Store Operations Training department strategy and to identify key objectives and deliverables.
  • Lead the Store Operations Training initiatives by identifying training needs, recommending appropriate training platforms, and coordinating the communication and delivery of content that aligns with the evolving business needs.
  • Identify Store Operations friction points for our end users and create efficient solutions to streamline store task processes and procedures for store operations and support functions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional business partners to remove unnecessary training and adoption frictions.
  • Act as the point of leadership contact for all external training vendor solutions, maintaining client relationships, and maximizing the return on investment.
  • Create a train-the-trainer platform for reinforcement of all Store Operations Training procedures, processes, and controls utilized daily to contribute to the enhancement of the customer experience.
  • Develop content and lead the preparation of high-quality refined reports, written analyses, presentations, and other deliverables.
  • Maintain an understanding of store initiatives and communicate process updates in a timely manner to ensure adoption throughout stores.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
  • 10+ years of experience effectively leading and developing operations teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business Management.
  • Ability to think strategically with strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to flex to various audiences.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with the desire to satisfy our internal and external customers.
  • Strong time management and follow-up skills.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong command of Microsoft Office Products including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint is a plus.
  • Knowledge of retail store and back-office systems is a plus. (CE Platform, POS, Oracle, PeopleSoft, etc.)
