• Corp Division/Shared Services Time keeping and labor reporting – Full cycle payroll processing.
• Audit Payroll Changes Reports for All Divisions
• Submission of Biweekly Payroll to UKG for payment
• Processing biweekly trend report for Finance Managers/CEO/Chairman of the board
• Processing biweekly cash reconciliation for payroll journal entry
• Reconciliation of all payrolls related accounts on the general ledger (i.e., accrued payroll, tax liabilities, 401k liabilities, accrued deduction withholding accounts, payroll tax expense accounts, etc.)
• Oversee all State/Sui tax issues relating to payroll.
• Dealing with employee issues regarding, pay, taxes and any other payroll related items.
• Training of new supervisors in the UKG and cost point system for Time / Expense approvals
• Overseeing Subcontractor time keeping and labor reporting
• Liaison with CHRO and HR Directors relating to employee issues.
• Liaison with Divisional Presidents and workforce relating to labor reporting issues.
• Collaborate with Finance and HR to create payroll reports and forecasts.
• Train employees who are involved in payroll on tax regulations and best practices.
• Back up for Subcontractor Manager and all Payroll Admins

EDUCATION: bachelor’s degree Accounting or related field or equivalent experience

EXPERIENCE LEVEL: 8 -10 years of payroll experience required. Minimum of 5 years in a supervisory or management role with Payroll oversight. Government accounting experience highly desirable. Experience with automated financial software Deltek Cost Point, Deltek time and expense, and UKG Payroll is desirable. SECURITY CLEARANCE: No Clearance required.

Desired Qualifications / Skills

• Proven experience as a Payroll Director or Payroll Manager
• Hands-on experience with payroll software UKG or similar
• Familiarity with HRIS UKG
• In-depth knowledge of labor legislation and tax regulations
• A high level of discretion and integrity when handling sensitive employee information.
