Booking Holdings is currently undergoing a Finance Transformation initiative that will drive effective finance/accounting support for business management; promote strong governance and control in the organization; and have a world-class finance organization in terms of execution and efficiency. To support this transformation, we are hiring a Sr. GBS RTR Manager within the Global Business Services organization. This role, reporting to the GBS RTR Director, will be responsible for helping deliver on the organization’s objectives and supporting the operational delivery for the global RTR function and accounting operations. The role collaborates with global teams and will drive initiatives and operations within the COE and a large diverse global stakeholder base. This role will also have oversight of the Intercompany operations with one direct report managing this.
- Drive the strategy in all aspects of operational accounting processes for BHI brands globally, including corporate and regional accounting, revenue accounting, intercompany, leases, fixed assets, and statutory reporting
- Collaborate with global stakeholders to implement people, process, and system integration, aiming for efficiency and effectiveness
- Develop Operational Governance, including Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), Metrics, and SLAs to assess process performance objectively and ensure process health
- Drive alignment, process standardization, automation, and best practices to enhance service delivery across Booking Holdings’ brands globally
- Support GBS enablement, process transformation projects, and the delivery of key record-to-report programs across multiple global entities
- Manage strategic initiatives, including project execution and monitoring, ensuring smooth transitions and acceptance of changes within Brand Finance operations and COE shared services centers
- Guide the COE accounting teams, monitor reporting activities for accuracy and compliance, and ensure proper internal controls are in place
- Provide oversight on all global intercompany transactions and processes, including compliance with intercompany transfer pricing agreements, as well as completeness and accuracy of intercompany accounts
- Oversee documentation quality, reflecting finance services provided, and ensure accounting teams are engaged and operating at a high-performance level
- Encourage transparency, collaboration, and open communication within the COE and across the business
- Demonstrate a commitment to fostering a culture of continuous improvement mindset and leading change within the COE or Brand
- Maintain a positive and strong relationship with all levels of business, cross-functional stakeholders, and peers
- Manage resources located in different time zones and cultures
- Finance/CPA preferred with a Bachelor’s Degree
- 12 years of corporate accounting experience, preferably in a shared-service model
- Big 4 public accounting or multinational corporate environment experience preferred
- Technical accounting expertise with knowledge of US GAAP/IFRS and SOX
- Project management and/or transformation experience
- Proficiency in SAP, Oracle, and Blackline preferred; familiarity with OneStream is a plus
- Excellent communication skills, ability to collaborate effectively across the organization
