As the Sr. Workday HCM Project Manager for Silgan’s Business Technology Shared Services Team, you will lead efforts to implement, configure, enhance, and support the Workday HCM system across multiple businesses under a single tenant.

• With your unique blend of technical and functional Workday expertise, you will work closely with business process owners from each division to thoroughly understand their requirements and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
• Contribute to Silgan’s objective of minimizing third-party reliance for service delivery, emphasizing internal capabilities.
• Coordinate with external vendors and resources to efficiently deliver requested services as needed.
• Manage system security and audit compliance to safeguard Silgan HR records and ensure adherence to applicable regulations.
• Facilitate the strategic development of more comprehensive and efficient use of human capital management products.
• Support key annual activities such as open enrollment, compensation cycles, and Workday releases.
• Determine the scope of projects, acquisitions, new applications, and enhancements.
• Estimate costs, resources, and time required for project completion.
• Develop and implement project plans for complex, large scale projects.
• Monitor progress, identify and resolve operational issues, and escalate as needed to ensure project success.
• Set priorities, allocate tasks, and coordinate project staff to meet targets and milestones.
• Define deliverable content and secure approval from top management levels for proposed solutions.
• Design project schedules, set timelines, delegate tasks, and monitor all activities of Silgan’s internal resources.
• Manage governance and provide service delivery leadership for Workday and UKG Dimensions Tenants.
• Establish and maintain regular communication with organizational executives, department heads, and end users regarding pertinent HR activities.

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Over 8 years of enriching experience in Information Technology and Service Delivery Management.
• 5 years or more of hands-on experience in Workday configuration, integrations, and maintenance.
• Proficiency in Workday components such as EIBs, XSLT, XML, XPATH, Web Services, .Net or Java, Cloud Connect, Studio, Report Writer, and Calculated Fields.
• Demonstrated project management skills, highlighting the ability to effectively handle multiple high-priority assignments simultaneously.
• Proven track record of meeting deadlines and maintaining quality standards in project delivery.
• Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and the ability to solve complex problems.
• Strong organizational skills, including data analysis capabilities.
• Outstanding organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Customer-service-oriented approach with the ability to engage both technical and functional end-users effectively.
• Demonstrated ability to drive initiatives for standardizing, optimizing, and simplifying processes and technical solutions.
• Prior experience as a Solutions Architect is a plus
