Our client is a well known global organisation and due to expansion plans they are currently seeking a SSC Finance Service Delivery Manager to be part of the team.

  • Accountability for Performance Goals: Responsible for achieving defined accounting performance and cost goals
  • Ensures positive outcomes aligned with organizational goals.
  • Compliance Management: Ensures adherence to accounting principles to facilitate mandated auditing requirements, as well as compliance with EHS (Quality Management), SOX and business conduct policies and guidelines.
  • Optimizing Processes: Collaborates with team leaders to manage the optimization of work plans, procedures and tools to enable accurate and timely reporting of financial data.
  • Process Improvement: Supports the optimization and development of financial processes and tools and promotes interfaces with other functions to improve end-to-end process flow in terms of quality and efficiency.
  • Talent Management: Takes a leadership role in attracting, managing and retaining talent within the SSC and fosters an enabling environment for professional growth and development.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborates with cross-functional teams to successfully implement business improvement initiatives, leveraging collective expertise and resources to drive organizational success.
  • Stakeholder Management: Acts as the primary point of contact for senior management stakeholders across the organization, addressing operational needs and ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field; an MBA or equivalent degree.
  • Experienced financial manager with over 10+ years of experience in the financial sector, including over 5 years in leadership positions in a shared services environment.
  • A CPA certification or equivalent local accreditation is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of the SAP FI/CO system is required.
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing effective organizational structures and processes.
  • Experience in startup environments and managing rapid growth is invaluable.
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills
  • Highly motivated manager with exceptional communication skills, adept at maintaining and managing complex business relationships.
  • Understanding complex dynamics facilitates effective internal and external collaboration.
  • Experience in project management
  • Knowledge of spoken and written business English is essential.
