International Supply Chain Manager heads the supply chain business unit at Kuehne+Nagel Cebu Global Services, in line with the Asia-Pacific’s International Supply Chain guidelines and objectives, ensures efficient functioning of the department, by managing a team of more than a hundred people comprising of program specialists, data analysts and subject matter experts. He/she strengthens the department through people development, operations excellence and continuous improvement.
- Leadership, influencing and coaching to inspire and empower the team in helping some of the worlds leading companies to optimize their supply chains by delivering and evolving Kuehne+Nagel’s order management and sea transportation management solutions.
- Performance management by monitoring the product and process performance indicators to ensure we deliver against the agreed Service Level Agreement
- Operations excellence by identifying and driving tactical initiatives to enhance performance in line with Asia-Pacific International Supply Chain Strategic initiatives
- Resource management by establishing effective workload allocation and balancing to improve overall productivity of the department
- Recruitment, succession and talent development to ensure there is a healthy talent pipeline to take on senior/complex roles, ideally from within the exiting team. This should be based on ‘Skills Matrix’, following ISC standards.
- Automation and Continuous Improvement in order to identify potentials for automation and realize them collaborate with the Robotic Process Automation team for structured Best Practice Exchange
- Origin engagement to work closely with country ISC leaders to drive operational efficiencies and adherence to Asia-Pacific International Supply Chain Strategic initiatives
- Department policies to – align policies with overall Shared Service Center policies and manages exceptions and deviations through alignment with SSC and ISC leadership
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business , Accountancy , Logistics , Supply Chain or related field
- Preferably Lean / Six Sigma Certified
- At least 5 to 8 years of Leadership and Project Management Experience
- At least 8 years of working experience in Sea Logistics, Air Logistics, Retail and Fast-moving consumer goods
- International Experience / background – International Management team and customers to manage.
- Excellent communication and influencing/ negotiation skills
- Build up relationship internal and external; highly organized with the ability to wear multiple hats in a fast moving environment and drive performance and build differentiators
- Customer Management, stakeholder management (relationship build-up / complaint handling / constructive challenge and support) and ability of managing multiple tasks under time pressure with positive attitude
