The role is responsible to assesses training and development needs for organizations and develop and administer training programs for employees and Leaders. Help the Service Streams to strategically plan their training needs and manage implementation and delivery of training and individuals and groups develop skills and knowledge. Create training manuals, presents in-person training sessions, monitors training for effectiveness. The role is also responsible for collaborating with other GSCs (GSCZ and GSCN) and Talent Management of Mann Hummel for synergies and support on overall training needs and execution.
- Responsible for competency assessments, identify improvements areas and arrange necessary trainings either internally or by coordinating with external training agencies.
- Works with Global Service Heads/ Delivery Leaders/Managers to address learning issues, or new training needs regarding specific employees or departments
- Monitors Service Centre training programs and provides periodic status reports, updates, developments and needs to the line leadership and other stakeholders as needed. During the training period, Proactive in highlighting/escalating issues/concerns/Areas of Improvements/opportunities to the leadership team to get their help as and when needed
- Explores and utilizes inhouse training source (LinkedIn etc.,) and comes up/suggests and Organizes appropriate trainings for the teams
- Specializes in Shared Services Industry and keeps current on the activities and needs of the industry by attending regular meetings, conferences, and seminars. Maintains understanding of new educational and training techniques and methods
- Drives digitalization in training and uses digital tools in learning
- Develop and assume onboarding training responsibility in GBTS India,Responsible for communication assessments, identify gaps and suggest development areas. Communication Development, email etiquettes/management and other soft skills trainings.
- Reviews existing training materials that are available and determine appropriateness and relevance. Modifies or creates course materials and training manuals to meet specific training needs
- Presents in-person and online training sessions or hires qualified personnel to do so
- Schedule’s training sessions, organizes information technology and other equipment, and manages course enrolment
- Problem Solving, Critical Thinking, Planning Skills, Time Management, Attention to Detail, Decision Making
- Strong understanding of business goals and standards for customer service
- Ability to communicate both upward and downward with in organization as well as ability to communicate across the functions and organization
- Experience developing yearly training plans and materials for all departments throughout the company
- Ability to effectively organize and manage multiple training initiatives simultaneously
- Ability to manage assigned tasks well and initiates/recommends changes in plan when appropriate
- Demonstrated ability to drive/deliver results
- Ability to challenge and debate issues of importance to the organization
