We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented HR professional to join our team as an Transition HRBP. In this role you will support the Transition team to setup and establish a Finance Shared center consisting of approximately 50 employees to be located in Kuala Lumpur. If you have a strong foundation in HR processes and enjoy working in a collaborative environment.

  • Support the setup of a Shared Service Center
  • Collaborate with the Transition Team and other Finance and HR stakeholders in the APAC Division in the design and implementation of the Shared Service center.
  • Provide valuable insights into the people aspect of a shared service center thus contributing to the development of efficient and effective shared services.
  • Employee retention and transition
  • Work with Division Finance and HR to identity employees that need to be retained for knowledge capture and transfer
  • Identify employee retention periods and work out appropriate retention strategies and plans to keep critical talent for those periods.
  • Knowledge Capture and transfer
  • Support the team to identify where key knowledge resides and devise effective methods to capture and transfer critical knowledge to the SSC
  • Staffing of the SSC
  • Collaborate with the SSC head and Finance Managers on Job Descriptions for SSC roles and timing of hire.
  • Work with recruiters to advertise and source candidates
  • Manage the overall hiring and onboarding process for new hires into SSC
  • Develop a comprehensive training program for SSC employees working with BU as needed on passing of knowledge and skills from BU’s to SSC
  • Forming the SSC Organisation and culture
  • Support the forming of the new SSC Organistion with appropriate Organisation Development activities and interventions such as Team Building, Leadership Development, Change Management etc..
  • Collaborate with the SSC leadership to create a SSC culture aligned to the culture
  • Engage employees regularly to understand the pulse of the new SSC organization and address teething problems proactively.
  • Stakeholder Engagement and Communication
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration or a related field.
  • Minimum of 15 years HR experience. HR Generalist experience preferred with solid experience in recruiting and onboarding new employees.
  • Experience in a shared service center would be a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work in a team environment with good collaboration.
