US Corporate Accounting GL Senior Manager responsible for the shared service delivery of the end to end general accounting activities in the US region. Accountable for the team performance (15+ employees) with 3 direct reports in Poland to international internal corporate clients with major focus on exceptional client care, excellent communications and client outcome mindset allowing to maintain and continuously improve our internal client & employee satisfaction.
- End to end responsibility for the Month End Close Process
- End to end responsibility for the BS Reconciliation Process, Review & Reporting
- Ensuring Informative and valuable timely management reports
- Ensuring SOX & US GAAP compliance
- Coordination with GSA (Global SOX Assurance Team) for SOX testing
- Proactive task/capacity management to ensure employee & client satisfaction
- Employee engagement initiatives and continuous employee talent development
- Process Documentation Management & Scope Change Control
- Service Continuity Management
- Knowledge of US GAAP
- Experience with SOX 404
- ACCA or CPA qualification or equivalent
- Big 4 experience of an advantage
- At least 7 years of experience in the team leadership position
- Excellent organizational and ad hoc project management skill
- Outstanding Client Care, ability to act as Trusted Advisor
- Skilled communicator with ability to listen and act with tact
- At ease when working in diverse, multi-culture, dynamic and constantly changing environment
- Outstanding team engagement and development skills
- Fluent English, other languages are nice to have
- PeopleSoft/ Cadency experience is a nice to have
