The Vice President of Human Resources (VPHR) is an executive-level management role reporting directly to the CEO responsible for leading all organization-wide HR and People strategies to support Cascade Energy’s strategic business plan, support Cascade’s culture, and optimize the benefits of an ESOP structure. This includes talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, performance management, employee relations, human resource systems, organizational development, workforce planning, learning and development, policies and processes, and compliance with Federal and state employment laws and regulations.

The VPHR will lead a team responsible for implementing HR and talent management programs and processes, and in this capacity will assess, lead, and mentor team members to provide the business with the level of support and programming it needs to attract the right talent, keep employees engaged and learning, and promote internal mobility and retention as Cascade grows.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Participating as a member of Cascade’s executive leadership team
  • Leading Cascade’s overall People strategy and culture
  • Driving overall HR strategy, programs, processes, and day-to-day operations
  • Providing mentoring, management, leadership, and team development for the People team
  • Optimizing, resourcing planning, and maturing the HR and People functions

  • Experience scoping, planning, and prioritizing the work of a team across multiple stakeholder groups and competing priorities
  • High level of business acumen and ability to develop and drive a People strategy that directly supports and contributes to the organization’s strategic plan and future growth
  • Results-driven change agent with the commitment and confidence to assume a leadership role in an evolving environment

Applicants for this role are required to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree required. Advanced degree or MBA preferred
  • 10+ years progressive HR leadership experience, with 4-5 years leading an HR function
  • Experience as an HR Business Partner or similar role supporting executives and/or senior leaders
