We are looking for an experienced, ambitious and professional HR leader who has a proven successful track record of delivering best in class strategic and operational HR solutions that truly impacts business success. Based out of our Head Office in Dieppe NB, leading a team of up to 20 professionals across Canada and being an active member of our Executive Leadership team, your desire to succeed in driving a great leadership experience, which creates a positive employee experience, ultimately delivering a positive customer experience is key to our success.

  • Participate as an executive team member on strategy and business planning, translating those strategic decisions into HR strategies and plans
  • Lead a team of HR professionals based in Atlantic Canada, Quebec and Ontario to deliver best in class people practices.
  • Collaborate with Corporate VP HR and other senior HR leaders across the organization to define and implement the HR strategic agenda
  • Lead the implementation of talent acquisition, development, planning, and performance development strategies to attract and retain the best employees through a positive employee experience
  • You have a university degree with a concentration in Human Resources, Business, or related discipline
  • You have a CPHR designation or equivalent
  • You have 15+ years’ relevant experience in Human Resources, currently working at a senior level, ideally with a focus on recruitment and retention, employee growth and development, compensation and familiarity with federally regulated companies would be an advantage.
  • You have the drive and motivation to further your career within the company
  • You have experience leading an HR team of professionals across multiple sites and provinces within Canada,
  • You have previous experience working within a Shared Services business model (asset)
  • You have strong personal credibility, influencing, and other communication skills
  • You have exposure to Continuous Improvement tools, methodologies, and culture
  • You have exposure to both non-bargaining and unionized environments
  • You can communicate fluently, both written and orally in English and French (asset)
  • You can travel within Canada
