Job Title: Vice President, Insulet Global Business Services (IGBS)

Position Overview
As head of Insulet Global Business Services (IGBS) this person will set the vision, architecture, development, and implementation of a portfolio of strategic and transformative initiatives that will combine to form a new Global Business Services division. This role will focus on key company-wide processes and execute high-visibility initiatives requiring cross functional alignment and support from all levels of the enterprise including: strategic insight and prioritization of resources from the Executive Leadership Team, partnership and collaboration from the Leadership Team and a commitment to executional excellence from the newly formed GBS organization. This person will work with sector, functional, and enabling leads, to propose strategies, influence buy-in, garner commitment and define the roadmaps needed to successfully implement initiatives that will improve service quality while reducing and optimizing operating costs. This role will lead and oversee the delivery and orchestration of strategy and transformation initiatives across multiple complex ongoing projects. This role will be a thought leader in the ongoing establishment and evolution of IGBS through well-defined strategies and a mindful approach to enterprise transformation. The VP IGBS will report into the Chief Financial Officer and be a member of the Finance Leadership Team.
GBS Vision and Strategy
- Independently assess processes to scope, develop, and propose GBS strategy initiatives, including but not limited to: analyze and propose scope to expand GBS business case and value proposition; develop and evolve service delivery operating model and delivery strategies; develop and evolve location footprint strategy.
- Build a GBS Team and lead members and their teams from scope, design through execution, implementation, and operation phases.
- Apply consultative skills to perform root cause analysis, structure compelling presentations synthesizing qualitative and quantitative data, and exhibit a bias for action by driving deliverables and outcomes to completion.
- Develop action-oriented recommendations through the analysis of internal data and competitive external benchmarks.
- Design reporting and key financial and non-financial metrics to measure effectiveness of the IGBS
- Translate strategic priorities into actionable plans, with appropriate scoping, resourcing, and adoption efforts.
- Run annual GBS Strategic Planning process across functions and ecosystem/enabling teams.
- Create enterprise-wide view of GBS consolidated transformation plan and alignment with broader transformative initiatives.
- Lead collaboratively with other team members both within and outside the GBS team to connect dots and integrate initiatives as needed.
- Identify and mitigate challenges, risks, and roadblocks in the GBS journey.
- Communications and Alignment
- Develop board and Executive Leadership team level presentations, driving actions and decisions.
- Translate strategy into key messages and communications to Leadership Team members and supporting team members.
- Engage with senior leadership and other stakeholders through influence, often without direct authority; use qualitative and quantitative means to persuade others to action.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to understand their needs and develop service offerings that meet their functional requirements and operating goals. Apply ability to build trusted relationships with stakeholders, confident executive presence, and interpersonal skills to successfully influence strategy and transformation needs and resolution of challenges and issues. Continuously build network within the organization and leverage relationships to get work done

Process Optimization and Performance Measurement
- Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, self-serve capabilities, and standardization across the organization to enhance efficiency, productivity, service quality and customer satisfaction.
- Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to streamline operations and drive excellence in service delivery.
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and establish monitoring mechanisms to track the performance and effectiveness of managed business services.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations for executive leadership, highlighting divisional achievements, key metrics, and opportunities for further improvement/investment/expansion.
- Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree in Business Management or relevant degree
- 10+ years of required experience in complex, global transformations, consulting and/or strategy
- Experience leading and scaling global or GBS strategies and transformation initiatives in a consulting or Fortune 500 environment preferred.
- Exceptional in-person, virtual, and written communication skills, and an ability to positively interact and influence with senior leadership and other key stakeholders.
- Strong collaborating, trust-building, and influencing skills with key Senior Management/Executives in required to ensure success.
- Ability to think strategically, innovate, and execute a plan.
- Result-oriented, able to complete assignments in a timely and accurate manner, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
- Expert knowledge of MS office programs; familiarity with SAP a plus
Physical Requirements (if Applicable)
- Remote / Hybrid with frequent travel (>50%) to Insulet sites and GBS locations
NOTE: This position is eligible for 100% remote working arrangements (may work from home/virtually 100%; may also work hybrid on-site/virtual as desired).
