We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Vice President, Marketing Shared Services & Operations who will be responsible for developing and executing operational strategies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our marketing initiatives.
The Vice President, Marketing Shared Services & Operations requires a blend of marketing expertise, project management skills and a keen understanding of shared services frameworks.
Operational Leadership:
- Lead the development and implementation of streamlined operational processes to help optimize marketing workflows and ensure seamless collaboration across disciplines/teams.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of marketing shared services, driving efficiency, and maintaining a high standard of performance.
- Drive discipline and rigor across all marketing operations to stay in alignment with broader organization and sales objectives/initiatives.
Shared Services Excellence:
- Establish and manage shared services frameworks, ensuring that marketing resources, tools and knowledge are efficiently shared across the marketing organization.
- Develop and refine service level agreements (SLAs) to meet evolving needs of internal stakeholders.
- Ensure all shared services are prioritized effectively to ensure effective resource allocation.
Strategic Planning:
- Collaborate with the SVP Commercial Operations & Marketing and other senior leaders to align marketing strategies with overall business objectives.
- Contribute to the development of long-term marketing plans, providing insights and recommendations based on operational capabilities.
- Builds plans that are measurable and can easily pivot to adjust for priorities, issues, and resourcing
Performance Metrics and Reporting:
- Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for marketing operations, regularly reporting on progress and areas for improvement.
- Utilize data-drive insights to make informed decisions and optimize marketing performance.
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
- 10-15 years’ experience across marketing disciplines, including at least 5+ years driving marketing operations, shared services, or a related field.
- Experience leading marketing functions/teams, preferably marketing team operations, complex marketing budgets, marketing metrics reporting, and demonstrated experience managing ongoing change and evolution, transformational initiatives and more.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement efficient operational processes.
- Strong experience managing cross-functional stakeholders and executives, experience presenting to C-Level executives.
- In-depth knowledge and experience of marketing functions, processes, frameworks, automation tools, analytics, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated experience working with agencies and managing complex marketing budgets.
