Reporting directly to the Executive Vice President, CFO & GM Administration, the VP of Finance will serve as a key partner to organizational business leaders by providing timely and accurate information and analysis to create business insights and support decision-making. The VP manages a team of FP&A professionals who support all business units. In addition, the VP ensures a timely and accurate financial close. Partnering with the IT organization to build/maintain an integrated financial system. This role is highly visible throughout the organization and involves significant interaction with the senior leadership team as well as coordinating projects and action plans is paramount in performing the duties of this position.

  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, long-term planning and analysis for the Corporation, lines of business, and shared services.
  • Leverage strong integration experience with SAP sales order processing, billing, controlling, purchasing, inventory management and integration.
  • Oversee the preparation of timely and accurate financial reports that include interpretation and analysis of results.
  • Manage financial models.
  • Develop and implement financial plans and budgets and analyze and interpret financial data to make informed business decisions, including forecasting revenues, expenses, and cash flows, and analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Oversee all general ledger, accounts payable, payroll and fixed asset activities, ensuring accurate and timely processing of transactions and compliance with internal policies.
  • Effectively develop and manage a team of trusted FP&A professionals.
  • Perform ad hoc and scenario analysis to support strategic planning.
  • Manage all monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings including year-end audit and the preparation of consolidated financial statements.
  • Create and review presentations for executive leadership and other stakeholders.
  • Assist with developing and reporting key metrics to evaluate business performance and provide leading indicators of future results.
  • Participate in the development and execution of the company’s strategic plan, including identifying and evaluating potential growth opportunities, analyzing the financial implications of different strategic options, and providing financial guidance and support to other members of the management team.
  • Assist with developing and maintaining policies, processes, and internal controls to enable efficient operations and manage risk.
  • Establish, implement, maintain, and document policies and procedures for an efficient and effective system of internal accounting control to assure the integrity of accounting information and the safeguarding of company assets. Responsible for monthly/quarterly internal account review and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, federal and international tax rules and regulations.

Education & Certification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting, or related field required
  • CPA, MBA is preferred

Knowledge & Experience:

  • Minimum of ten years of progressive financial management experience preferably within a global matrix organization.
  • More than 15 years’ experience with finance and accounting function with increasing responsibility.
  • Demonstrate proficiency with accounting software and other computer software
  • Full life-cycle implementation experience.
  • Experience in strategic planning and execution.
  • Considerable knowledge of business theory, business processes, management, budgeting, and business office operations.
  • Excellent understanding of project management principles.
  • Superior understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives.
  • A commitment to individual and team accountability for results.
  • Strong understanding of human resource management principles, practices, and procedures.
