A successful Advertising Service company located just outside of Boston is seeking a VP Global Controller to join their growing team! The VP Global Controller will be a key member of the leadership team, oversee the Accounting and Finance team, and be responsible for the financial wellbeing of the company. We are only seeking candidates who have obtained their CPA, and have worked within Public accounting! If this sounds like you, keep reading!

• Functional responsibility over accounting, financial reporting , and the company’s global shared services organization, including AP/AR, cash application, collections, and payroll
• Lead, and support the global team while driving efficiency & automation to keep up with the demands of the business
• Strategize and anticipate business needs, work with internal customers to identify business solutions that support business objectives
• Ensure he preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Review workpapers that support the monthly close process and month end balances
• Develop, update and provide key performance metrics to the businesses and recommendations on how to improve results
• Administer/review all financial projections and budgets
• Effectively lead the accounting team by hiring top talent; address and develop performance and career development requirements

• BA/BS degree in Accounting or Finance
• Must have CPA License
• 10+ years of experience within an Accounting leadership role
• Prior Big4 Accounting experience is required
• In-depth knowledge and experience with GAAP, IFRS and internal audits
• ASC 606 strongly preferred
• Must be willing to be onsite 2days/week
