We currently have an exciting opportunity for a VP, Corporate Finance to join our corporate finance team. This role will enable the organization to meet its strategic objectives by demonstrating leadership, influencing change across the organization, maintaining accountability for the financial planning process, and supporting the Corporate Finance team and the provision of finance advice around analysis of strategic business objectives. This role will report to the Chief Financial Officer.
- Leads the consolidated annual budgeting process, partnering with FP&A leadership and key stakeholders, as well as produce consolidated monthly, annual, and multi-year financial forecasts that drive results in support of our company objectives, including corporate SG&A line items.
- Develop capital expenditures plan and forecast and continue to monitor capital allocation plan and policy.
- Develop Corporate Finance team by setting priorities, removing obstacles for delivering on objectives, and ensuring the team is focused on providing support that helps deliver strong financial performance.
- Responsible for Corporate Treasury, developing the Treasury team, managing the Company’s finances, financial structure and capital allocation, while helping develop our long term financial strategy and policies.
- Deliver consolidated weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial reporting to key internal and external stakeholders as needed.
- Communicate our financial performance and business strategy to the Board of Directors and investment community.
- Track macro, industry, and competitive landscape and triangulate trends to business performance.
- Collaborate with the executive team and other departments to ensure alignment on key messaging and initiatives, as well as measure progress against strategic initiatives.
- Participate in ongoing strategic planning as an integral member of senior management team.
- Develop financial models, dashboards, KPI’s and other financial analysis as appropriate.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or Economics required; MBA preferred.
- A minimum of 15 years of progressive financial analysis experience, with an emphasis on Corporate FP&A including budgeting, forecasting, board level reporting, and quarterly earnings-related support.
- Outstanding conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly build in-depth knowledge of data hierarchies and financial systems; proficient and willing to troubleshoot and solve problems.
- Advanced competency in Excel, PowerPoint and proficient with other financial systems.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and social skills including verbal and written.
- Organized and extremely detail oriented.
- Influential across all levels in the organization including senior executives.
