We are seeking a visionary and dynamic Vice President of Software Development to lead our newly formed Platform organization, a cornerstone in our strategy to power all AspenTech products and applications. • Lead the development and execution of our Platform strategy, integrating it seamlessly with our suite of products and applications.
• Drive innovation and modernization of our engineering practices, ensuring the Platform meets evolving market demands and technological advancements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, R&D, and Sales, to align engineering objectives with overall business goals.
• Oversee the scaling and optimization of engineering operations to support rapid growth and transformation.
• Foster a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement within the engineering team.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree or higher is preferred.
• 15+ years of experience in software engineering and development, with a significant portion in a leadership capacity.
• Proven experience in a senior engineering leadership role in a software or technology-focused company.
• Demonstrated success in leading large-scale engineering projects and teams, with a deep understanding of modern software development practices and technologies.
• Strong track record of strategic planning and execution in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Experience in building and scaling platform-based engineering organizations is highly desirable.
