The Vice President, Shared Services for The US Oncology Network (The Network) is accountable for results achieved by the HR Services team. This leader will track and manage the aggregated shared services initiatives and programs for the US Oncology Function across the United States, as well as oversee the delivery of HR services to over 18,000 employees across The US Oncology network. The role includes directing services for HRIS (maintaining and developing for current and future state), Talent Acquisition, HR Operations, Employee Relations, Compensation and M&A. The VP will continually provide thought leadership around trends in Shared Services and evaluate potential effectiveness of potential solutions at The US Oncology Network. As a member of the HR Leadership team, the VP will develop and deploy a vision while listening and engaging others to provide input in the shaping of that vision.

  • Develop & implement Shared Service strategy
  • Foster innovation and collaboration across HR functions
  • Accountable for execution of HR processes against pre-determined and agreed upon SLA’s KPI’s and other metrics
  • Provide thought leadership around HR technologies and new service delivery methods
  • Identify opportunities for continuous process improvement and propose innovative solutions to operate efficiently and cost-effectively
  • Budget owner for The Network’s HR P&L
  • Leadership, support, and coaching to ensure the team’s success in delivering HR services to The US Oncology Network
  • HR Projects as assigned

HRIS Leadership

  • Lead a team of 4 to maximize The Network’s instance of Workday and develop long range plans that align with business strategy and M&A. Strong partnership with The Network’s IT required to ensure system alignments and interoperability.
  • Data & Analytics implementation – Pilot for PSaS (McK enterprise).

Talent Acquisition

  • Oversee recruitment efforts and build a strategy to attract strong oncology talent. Lead, manage the TA team, and provide guidance, support, and coaching to ensure the team’s success.
  • Create a strategy for candidate recruitment system ICMS.

HR Operations

  • Oversee and lead team and vendors that operationalize Affirmative action, OFCCP, and Talent experience to include EOS Survey development and execution.

Employee Relations

  • Oversee and lead team of ER Consultants that provide litigation, charges, and investigation services to the US Oncology Network. Build and maintain strong partnership with legal teams.

Compensation

  • Oversee management of compensation leader and activities that include USON enterprise impact projects such as: implementation of a career framework, new pay ranges, and pay transparency. Provide counsel on annual activities such as compensation design, surveys, and competitive analysis.

M&A

  • Direct all M&A activity to include new MSA (Master Services Agreements). Work across all HR functions to enable support of inorganic growth. Partnership across practice leaders and vendors.

P&L

  • Manage $4.5M Budget for US HR.

Minimum Requirements

12+ years of Human Resources business experience in a related field

Critical Skills

  • 4+ years supervisory and/or management experience
  • Experience leading multi-level team desired
  • Experience working with executive level leaders preferred

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field require or equivalent experience
  • SPHR or SHRM-SCP certification is a plus
