As the Vice President Treasury Operations, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing critical activities within the department. You will build a global team responsible for executing treasury transactions, implementing efficient processes, optimizing transaction costs, and establish state-of-the-art controls.
- Lead and manage the team.
- Drive process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of liquidity and cash management processes.
- Establish the global platform for Treasury Operations and drive forward harmonization of IT and processes.
- Manage short-term liquidity process and optimize utilization of cash.
- Manage the Payment Factory, the inhouse bank and roll-out SAP TRM.
- Head up the Group Liquidity Board and oversee daily cash position monitoring and forecasting to ensure adequate liquidity for company operations.
- Oversee account balances and foreign currency positions including recording and approval of internal and external payments.
- Monitor and optimize bank transaction fees globally.
- Oversee operational accounting processes.
- Design efficient Backoffice processes.
- Provide guidance and support for Treasury Operations, including confirmation processes and trade settlements.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and financial policies.
- Master’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- Ideally proven experience of at least 8 years in treasury or treasury consultancy, with initial experiences in a leadership role.
- Experience in negotiating external contracts and agreements.
- Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to lead and execute multiple projects simultaneously.
- Understanding of SAP (incl. TRM module).
- Ideally first experience in S4 Hana.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities with the capacity to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
